Cheesy Garlic Pasta

This is a quick and easy recipe for a meatless Monday or for Carbfest!  I also made bacon wrapped chicken tenders to go with this pasta.  Bacon + anything = devine delisiousness!


4 tsp olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

4 T butter

1/2 t salt

1 t pepper

6 cups chicken stock

1 lb angel hair pasta

2 cups parmesan cheese (there’s always room for more cheese!)

1  1/2 cups heavy cream

4 T chopped fresh parsley


In large pan add olive oil and garlic, cook just until tender. Add butter, salt, pepper and chicken stock. Raise heat to high and get it to a boil.

Add the pasta and cook to al dente. Reduce heat to medium and mix in cheese. Once completely melted turn off heat and stir in cream and parsley.

Serve immediately.
