Chocolate Chip Cookies

So, I have been eating the same chocolate chip cookies for 30+ years and making the same old chocolate chip cookies for 20+ years.  In my estimation, it was time to try something new and switch up something old!!  Hence this cookie recipe, I found one I wanted to try but was weery, so made a few changes to it and came up with this amazing cookie!!  This ain’t yo mama’s chocolate chip cookie!!

Ingredients:

1  1/2 cups unsalted butter

1  1/2 cups brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 eggs

4 tsp vanilla

4 cups a.p. flour

4 tsp cornstarch

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 pkg baking chips (semi-sweet, milk, pb or white)

Directions:

1.  Preheat to 350 degrees

2.  Cream together room temp butter, brown and white sugars. Then eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

3.  Mix dry ingredients in seperate bowl, mix into wet ingredients.  Add baking chips. (I have used both chocolate chip and peanut butter chip).

4.  Using cookie scoop, drop standard size spoon onto parchment covered cookie sheet.

5.  Cook for 8-9 minutes….no longer than 10 minutes (trust me!)
