This is similar in style to the old Pampered Chef recipe for taco ring baked on their round stone. Tried it tonight and everyone seemed to like it.
2 tubes crescent rolls
2/3 cup crushed tortilla chips
2 cups precooked chicken (finely chopped)
3/4 cup Mexican blend cheese
1/2 cup mayo
1 can chopped green chilies
1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
1/2 can black beans
Lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sour cream to garnish.
On baking stone unroll crescents to form a ring, widest part towards the center creating an opening of about three inches, points facing outward. Press crescents down by rolling. In bowl combine chicken, cheese, mayo, beans, taco seasoning, tortilla chips and chilies. Spoon over wide ends of dough, fold over ponts of dough and tuck under center.
Bake 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes
